Hi, my name is Buffy and I’m your Orlando, Florida travel guide!
What makes me qualified? Well, I’ve lived in Florida my entire life. Plus, it will forever be my stomping ground because I can't imagine living anywhere else. And why not? Orlando, Florida has beautiful
weather
and so many wonderful outdoor activites.
I was born here, graduated from high school and college here and settled on living my married life here. My husband, Chris, is also a native to Florida. Between us we have 50 years of local experience.
We have two dogs, Pugsy (whom I lovingly refer to as boogers) and Spaz (also known as Monster), and a cat names chick (who lives part time with her Grandma and brother.) No babies though.
That's what allows us to travel and play around Florida and bring the experiences back to you. Many things I used to do as a child here in Orlando are still around, and just as much fun for me as an adult.
I decided to write my website about Orlando travel and tourism because I’ve worked in the customer service/hospitality industry my entire working career, a little over seventeen years now.
Over the years I found that people would ask me the same questions. “What are some fun things to do in Orlando?” Or, “what is a must see while I’m here? “
So I decided why not just make a great resource for people to use before they come to Orlando, Florida.
One of the coolest things about writing a website about my home town is that I get to discover new things for myself. In an attempt to be as accurate as possible for you, my readers, I feel I must have first-hand experience.
It’s really fun to go out and try new things and then report back. It makes checking new places out around Orlando something I have to do. The best part is it’s gets me out in the beautiful Florida sunshine!
