Cracker Barrel is my pick for best pancakes at any of the Orlando Florida restaurants!

Cracker Barrel is sure to calm those breakfast cravings!

It’s Sunday morning. I'm hungry. I'm craving...pancakes! Where's the best pancakes in town? Cracker Barrel!

Pulling up you may be wondering what your doing there. Besides circling the parking lot looking for a spot. You may even find a line when you walk up to the door. I can assure you it'll be worth the wait.

While you wait you can take a break in one of the wooden rocking chairs lining the front porch of this Orlando Florida restaurant. And have a nice conversation while playing a friendly game of checkers.

You may find yourself rocking and enjoying the scenery so much you miss your name over the intercom. Before you get too comfortable remember you're here to eat!

Cracker Barrel has a very country charm to it. When you first walk through the front door you are greeted with a quaint little store. Filled with antique looking items.

Once you walk into the restaurant itself you are greeted with old timey pictures and memorabilia. Every nook and cranny has something different and unique.

A wood burning fire place will keep you warm and toasty while you wait for your grits.

The tables are set up simply with a napkin and silverware on top. With old time hurricane lamps on every table.

With so many distractions it's easy to forget about being hungry. A large checker board can be found in most Cracker Barrel restaurants.

Plus on each table there's a peg game. I’ve never been good at this game. I usually leave three or four pegs.

Which makes me, according to the game, just plain dumb. Oh well it gives me something to work towards.

The game is good for a laugh when you realize most people at your table and the tables around you are also just plain dumb!

Cracker Barrel is a great restaurant in Orlando Florida if you are looking for a good hearty breakfast.

I especially like the pancakes. They come served HOT with a little bottle of syrup.

You can choose fruit toppings to put on them. My favorite's the apples. Not the healthiest option but oh so delicious!

Warm apples in a caramelized sauce. Topped with whipped cream and syrup. My mouth's watering just thinking about it!

The picture is of a meal for two people! It's enough to feed a small village.

My husband likes to the “scrambler”. It comes with eggs just the way he likes it, sunny side up. Two choices of meat (bacon, turkey sausage, pork sausage) a biscuit and a side of apples.

The apples are again the dessertey type ones I get for my pancakes. He never finishes.

Nothing on the breakfast menu is more than $9.00 and the dinner menu features most meals in the $6.00 to $8.00 range. With only a few items over $10.00. One of those items being a rib-eye steak.

You can keep prices down for breakfast by having just a couple of eggs and biscuits for $2.99.

In fact the menu has many combinations that run from $1.89- $2.99. These are different combos of eggs, meats, hash browns and fried apples.

I don’t normally eat lunch or dinner at Cracker Barrel. That’s because I can (and do) eat breakfast any time of the day.

Not to mention that the few times I did try their meals outside of breakfast I was not impressed. I remember the sides to be bland and the meal itself unmemorable.

People do enjoy items off the dinner menu though. The meat loaf and the chicken pot pie get high ratings.

Come to think of it I may not be the best judge of southern food because I’m not really a fan. Unless we're talkin about barbeque :)

You must walk back through the store to leave the restaurant. Be sure to check out all the cool things they have on sale.

Old time candy and bottles of syrup line the shelves. Gift baskets and other gift items are found throughout.

If you’re a Coca Cola collector Cracker Barrel will be heaven for you. Plaques and other Coke items are all reasonably priced. John Deere items are also popular in this store.

Other items for sale depends on the time of year. They always have really cute items for Halloween and Christmas. Easter throws and Valentines bears are sure to found during the other popular holidays.

There are lots of unique items in the store I’ve never seen anywhere else. They also have t-shirts and kids clothes.

And off in a far corner you should be able to find their discount section. With deals up to 70% off.

Be careful though you may leave with more than just a full belly if you shop in this store too long.

So if you're looking for some a tasty breakfast be sure to check out Cracker Barrel. It wins my vote for best Orlando,Florida restaurant for pancakes!
