Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville is located at Universal Citywalk. If you love Jimmy Buffet you owe it to yourself to check it out. Next to Bob Marley's and Pat OBrians.
You can spot it by looking for the colorful neon sign. It has two large birds that are blue and green. Very hard to miss. You also see some very colorful and comfortable looking lounge chairs waiting to be enjoyed.

Usually Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville is pretty busy. Especially at night. Probably because Citywalk Orlando offers a great deal. You can get a dinner and movie meal deal for only $22.00!

You can check out a movie at AMC in Universal Citywalk and then you can enjoy a meal at any of the surrounding restaurants.

My friends and I decided to check out Jimmy Buffets for our meal deal. The menu you’re allowed to choose from has five to seven items and it includes a drink and the tip! Not to shabby.

If you like parrots you’ll get to see plenty here. On the sign, the tables and in person!

When you’re waiting outside be sure to say hi to the parrots. You can even get your picture taken with them! But, be careful, if you allow them to take your picture they will have them developed and try to get you to buy them. Of course they are a bit overpriced but they would make a nice souvenir.

You can sit inside or outside at this restaurant in Orlando, Florida. After 9pm there’s live music on the inside. If it’s busy make sure you aren’t starving because you may find yourself waiting a bit.

Sometimes if there's a long wait you can sit on the back patio with little to no wait. There’s even live music back there during the evenings.

*Make sure to get there around 8 or 8:30 pm if you don’t want to pay the cover charge for the live music.*

Walk inside the restaurant and you’ll feel like you're on a ship sailing away to paradise. There’s nets overhead with a stage in the middle of the restaurant.

The atmosphere is very fun. You may be able to see stilt walkers during your dining experience. And it’s a lot of fun when the entire restaurant sings along to the songs. Be sure to check out the erupting volcano every half hour!

The tables are also very cute. There’s an island scene depicted on each. Even the salt and pepper holders are cute. With a duplicate bird like you see on the outside sign.

When you peruse the menu you’ll notice that they offer items you’d expect to find at a caribbean island. Like, coconut shrimp or maui maui. Other menu items include steak, jerk chicken, ribs, pasta and a variety of seafood dishes.

Prices range from $8.00 for the burgers and sandwiches and $12.00 and up for most entrees. Of course most of the menu is a little inflated in price. After all you're located in the heart of tourist town. That’s why it's such a good deal to get the dinner and a movie.

Just like many of the Orlando, Florida resturants on my list the portion sizes are large. You could always share or take home leftovers for the next day.

This isn’t fine dining in Orlando so don’t expect to be. It’s a theme restaurant that's aimed at getting your money. It’s worth a try especially if you do it at a discount.

If you want to save a few bucks but still enjoy the atmosphere just grab a few drinks and an appetizer. If you’re looking for a snack to share with some friends check out the Volcano Nachos.

They’re topped with chili, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, tomato and scallions. Add grilled chicken or fajita beef. These things are huge!

My friends and I got the peal and eat shrimp last time we visited Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville. They left a little something to be desired. Almost like they were frozen and then just defrosted and plopped on the plate. But, the presentation was very nice. It was in a cute little shell shaped bowl that was filled with ice.

Stick with the house specials and you'll enjoy your meal. There’s great burgers that you must try. Cheeseburger in paradise indeed! The best thing on the menu are the desserts. You can’t go wrong with dessert!

Remember this is a restaurant suited for tourists that are looking to have a good time. It gets very loud and it may be hard to hear your conversation. Especially when the band is playing and everyone is singing. But that adds to the fun!

The service is a hit or a miss. Some of the servers offer impeccable service while other are indifferent. I’m a local and I got great service but I've heard less then desirable results from other people.

There’s a great little shop connected to the restaurant. You can get yourself a souvenir t-shirt or bag. Be sure to look for the clearance section to find a real steal.

If you visit Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville after 7pm the parking will only be $3.00 (normally $14). Mind you have to park, walk a ways and then come upon Jimmy Buffets.

It’s a bit of a trek if you're just going for dinner. This would be a good choice if you’re hanging out at Citywalk Orlando or if you went to Universal Studios for the day.
