Longhorn Steakhouse
Longhorn Steakhouse is one of the newest additions to the
Darden restaurant
family.
If it's casual fine dining in Orlando you're after, this is the place. It offers both lunch and dinner menus with plenty on both to choose from. They have small starters or large group sized appetizers.
If you sign up on the Longhorn Steakhouse website you'll get a free appetizer!
You can go for lunch or dinner. Lunch combos start at $7.99 and are available Monday-Friday. If you go for dinner sometimes you have to wait but normally they have you in and out in no time.
If you want to avoid a long dinner wait you should arrive before 7pm, that’s when the rush will usually start. Or, go after 8pm for a late meal.
You can get happy hour prices from 5pm-7pm. You can get half priced drafts and well drinks. No discounts on food though. But it’s a good way to save a few bucks if you’re a drinker.
The décor is very cowboy inspired. Saddles line the walls, cow heads are also visible. The walls are covered with dusty roads and horses. If it’s Texas style you are after than this is the Orlando, Florida restaurant for you!
The service is always fast and friendly.
Every meal comes with complimentary loafs of delicious bread and butter. You can get as much as you want!
The prices are a little higher than other Orlando Florida restaurants but you are paying for quality. The steak is top notch and prepared to order. If you ask for medium, you get medium.
What about the food? Well that’s why we go to Longhorn Steakhouse. If you have a craving for steak than of course this restaurant in Orlando would be a good place to start.

You can have steak and mushrooms, steak and lobster, steak and shrimp. Pretty much any steak combo you can think of.
If you aren’t into the steak thing, like me, then there are some nice chicken dishes to choose from too. Also on the list of items is pasta, salads and fish.

Everything comes out hot and tasty. The presentation is always nice and clean.
Once you are all done with your meals don’t forget to treat yourself. If you try the dessert sampler it’ll comes with three of the favorites, the Chocolate Stampede, Caramel Apple Goldrush and Mountain Top Cheesecake. Spoon please!

Longhorn Steakhouse is a great place to have a family lunch or dinner. Or, just go on your own. Either way you’re sure to leave full and happy. Enjoy!
