You’ll see there’s so much more to Orlando than just the theme parks (although those are pretty cool too!) If you're looking for more information on the bigger theme parks like Disney World you can get more information at most website about Orlando. But here we focus on the little guys.
There are so many fun things to do around town. From International Drive to Downtown Disney to Downtown Orlando.
As a local I’m never out of ideas for things to do. There are so many great activities in Orlando. Plus most of it doesn’t cost much to enjoy!

It’s pretty cool the things that are such a large part of my history bring joy to so many others.
I guess as a local I’ve taken for granted all of the advantages we have as Floridians (this is what we call the people born and raised in Florida.)
I can't see every attraction in Orlando, Florida but I'll do my best. If you're looking for attractions around the rest of Florida you can check out other places around Florida.
Orlando Florida has museums, botanical gardens and amusement parks. Not to mention the theme parks! Plus there’s some things to do that are completely unique to Orlando.
Whether it’s educational or just for a good time you have many great options to choose from.
Ever wonder where the alligators live? Is it true that you see them on the side of the road? Well yes and no.
Check out Gatorland Florida if you want to see the largest alligator farm in Orlando! You'll see some of the Biggest alligators you'll ever see up close and personal.

One of the best Orlando Florida attractions for you if you're really into nature and animals would be the Green Meadows Patting Farm. There you'll get to see over 300 animals! Plus you'll get to go on a train ride and a tractor-pulled hay ride. Enjoy the outdoors and some of natures sweetest animals.

One of my favorite places to go when I’m on I-Drive (this is what the locals call International Drive) is Magical Midway.
This mini amusement park offers arcade games, water rides and go carts. Plus two of the rides there you can’t find anywhere else! It’s fun for the whole family and it doesn’t cost a small fortune.
One of the most unique Orlando Florida attractions on I-drive is Skyventure Orlando. If you’ve ever wanted to go skydiving this would be the place to start!

The Central Florida Zoo is fun for the whole family. Plus it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Monkeys, elephants, birds and more!
This zoo has been around since I was a kid. It hasn’t changed much. It still has fun shows and tons of animals. Any animal lover would love this place. I know I do!
For a fun educational day for you and the kids you have to check this place out!
Sea World Orlando is my favorite theme park. I love that you can pet the animals and watch them so closely. The sting rays are my all time favorite!
Discovery Cove is an attraction that’s sure to please. This place allows you to swim with and pet the dolphins. Talk about an unique experience!
Not to far from these Orlando Florida attractions is Fun Spot. This is another mini amusement park. With a Ferris wheel, games and go-carts. Check out what else Fun Spot has to offer....

If you’re looking for a little something different you might want to consider one of my favorite Orlando Museums.
The Orlando Science Center is both fun and educational.
One of three Orlando museums in Loch Haven Park. With hands on activities this's a great place for the whole family!
Right around the corner from the Science Center is the Orlando Museum of Art. Any art enthusiast or amateur alike would benefit from a trip to this enlightening Orlando attraction.
Leu Gardens in Orlando Florida offers a beautiful setting for picture taking. Many people even get married there. Beautiful botanicals year round makes this one of the Orlando Florida attractions you must see!
Mead Garden is another one of the beautiful Orlando Parks. Pack up the kids, the dog and some lunch. Enjoy a day outdoors at this beautiful park. Oh and it's free!
How about a round of golf? Check out the Pirates Cove Adventure Golf for a fun round of putt-putt.
Old Town Orlando is one of my favorite places to go. It has a little bit of everything. Go carts, bumper cars and rides. Plus old fashioned cars and stores. Old Town Orlando is a great way to spend the day!

Inside of Old Town Orlando you'll find their picture gallery. There you can get all dressed up and have your old time picture taken. Be a Civil War Hero, a Western Cowboy or a Victorian at Instant Ancestors.

Citywalk Orlando has everything you could want. Clubs, restaurants, shopping and Universal Studios! You could walk around all day and still have stuff left over.
If you're looking to beat the heat look no futher than Wet n Wild Orlando for fun in the sun. This Orlando water park is sure to please everyone in your group. Get a tan and be lazy or ride some of the most thrilling rides around!
WonderWorks Orlando offers a few hours of fun and education. With over 100 exhibits to see you'll be sure to have a good time here. Have fun while learning at this family friendly attraction.
If you're looking for nearby Orlando activities look no further than Winter Park. This little town just outside Orlando has so many things to see and do. Go on a scenic boat tour and check out some million dollar houses. Sit back and relax!
Hard Rock Orlando offers an experience like no other. This’s a great venue to check out concerts and other live entertainment.
Ripley’s Believe it or Not is a pretty cool Orlando attraction. It has things like the tallest man and the largest tire ever made. And other strange things you wouldn’t find anywhere else!
