Ormond Beach Florida is one of the best Orlando Florida Beaches for relaxation!
I love to go to Ormond for a laid back experience. I never come home stressed after visiting this beach near Orlando. Ormond Beach Florida is a little further from the hustle and bustle of Daytona Beach. I think that’s what makes it so great. You’re given the opportunity to hang out at the world most famous beach if you want but then you can go back to the comfort and quiet of Ormond. There’s still plenty of fun things to do. With tons of restaurants to choose from you’ll never go hungry.
You can sit outside and enjoy the cool ocean breeze and take in some sun. Or you can go inside and enjoy a world class margarita. What ever you decide to do you’re going to love this restaurant. You can drive on the sand in Ormond Beach Florida just like you can in Daytona Beach but it isn’t as busy there. This is one of the Orlando Florida beaches that offers what some of the other best Florida beaches don’t.....peace and quiet. The beach in Ormond is never over run with traffic or people. And it doesn’t have as many annoying timeshare sales people trying to talk you into going to a presentation. Ormond Beach Florida is so clean and beautiful and it's one of the top five of my favorite Orlando Florida beaches. Maybe that’s because that’s where my husband Chris proposed to me! It'll always hold a special place in my heart. I own a timeshare so we always stay at the same place. The Cove on Ormond Beach.
We usually stock the fridge in our room so we have breakfast and lunch without spending a fortune. I just like to relax and soak up the sun. If you go to the beach in the morning, usually when the sun is rising, you may be able to see dolphins swimming! It’s so beautiful to see them frolicking in the distance. I watch them from the sixth floor panoramic window. 
Walking the soft white sand is a favorite past time when we visit this beach near Orlando. If you wait until the tide comes in you can do some great sea shell searching. I always find my best ones right after high tide.If you want a little entertainment without having to travel into Daytona you can always travel into the city of Ormond for a movie. Or you can do some shopping at their local markets. If you do want to visit Daytona Beach and you don’t want to drive you can always hop on the trolley. It’s only a couple of bucks to ride it all day long. You could travel to the strip mall in Daytona for some shopping. Or, you can head down to the Ocean Deck for some live entertainment. Then jump back on the trolley and go back to the little piece of paradise known as Ormond Beach Florida! The trolley also has week long deals so make sure to talk to the concierge in your hotel to find out more. They should be able to give you the schedule for it too. This’s one of the Orlando Florida beaches I recommend to people looking for a fun yet relaxing time. I can spend an entire whole week just soaking up the sun at my timeshare and one the beach below. Perfectly content.
My Mom likes to bring her three wheel bike so that she can cruise the soft white sand. I wouldn’t recommend riding it all the way down to the Ocean Walk Center in Daytona Beach because that would be quite a trek. That’s the one drawback (and advantage) of Ormond Beach Florida. It’s close enough to everything to make it a fun beach to stay at. But too far away from everything to walk to. Oh well it’s still one of my favorite Orlando Florida Beaches. Remember that after soaking in the sun and playing in the ocean that you’ll want to reapply your suntan lotion. It doesn’t last all day. Especially if you pasty white to begin with (you know who you are.) So make sure you don’t let everyone know you’re a tourist by turning lobster red. You want a sun kissed glow after visiting Ormond Beach Florida. Orlando Florida beaches offer so many fun and exciting things to do. Ormond Beach Florida offers the best thing you could ever want on vacation.....peace and quiet!

Barnacles on the beach is a great place to eat. They offer food and drink specials and some of the freshest seafood around. Plus they have a fantastic soup and salad bar!
It’s a great hotel with ocean views. It has a cool slide that goes into the pool. Great for kids and adults! Plus it’s right down the street from a variety of shopping opportunities and restaurants.
