It's located in the heart of where I grew up. Right down the street from my high school!

The building used to a be a little convenience store when I was going to school. Over the years it has been several other things.

But the All American Café has managed to stay alive there for over five years. Why? Because they offer great food and great service!

This's one of the smallest Orlando Florida restaurants on my list. But if you decide to go there it'll be worth it.

You’ll notice when you pull up if it’s busy there isn’t much parking. Maybe twelve spots or so. I’ve never had any trouble parking though.

Normally someone's getting ready to leave. If you can't find a spot and it’s Saturday or Sunday you can park across the street at the elementary school.

A lot of the business comes from foot traffic from the surrounding homes and businesses. This’s one of the Orlando Florida restaurants that's a well kept secret. You have to know someone that goes there to know about it.

With cute little picnic tables waiting for you to enjoy your meal. Walk in through the front door and not through the back so that the server sees you’re there.

You can either sit inside which has about five tables or outside which offers ten or fifteen more tables to choose from.

My husband Chris and I always sit outside because you can watch the happening of Kaley Avenue (cars passing, people walking their dogs, kids playing).

If you do sit outside you can enjoy a cigarette. Not all the people out there smoke and if they do it isn’t that offensive if you’re a non smoker.

Chris and I don’t smoke and it's never been an issue. If you’re sensitive about smoke you may want to sit inside.

If you’re on a road trip and just stopping in you can also bring your family pet. Many locals walk their dogs to eat breakfast here.

Please make sure your animal's friendly though because the guests around you may want to pet them or,at the very least,eat in peace. We never bring our dog because he’s mean and he’d bark at everyone.

Breakfast is why Chris and I frequent the All American Cafe. And why this's is one of the best restaurants in Orlando!

They have the best grits in town. Maybe even in the county. Now I’ve never been a grit fan but let me tell you these grits are awesome!

Tommy and Dave are the owners of this little restaurant and I’ve known them since they opened the place. To this day they still will not tell me their secret!

The owners are really nice guys. You’ll usually see Tommy floating around and talking to all of the guests. That is if he isn’t in the kitchen slaving away.

This’s one of those Orlando Florida restaurants that keeps me satisfied. Chris and I usually go for breakfast. For the grits and also the omelets.

Plus you get two pieces of toast and home fries or grits (served with REAL butter). It’s a breakfast made for a king!

Most items on the menu range for breakfast from $2.50-$8.00. Chris and I can usually have breakfast with tip and walk out spending $20.00 or so.

The most expensive thing on the menu for breakfast is $7.99 and that’s for country fried steak. But that comes with two eggs and home fries. This's one of the Orlando Florida restaurants that you'll want to bring your appetite to!

If you go to this restaurant in Orlando on a Sunday morning you’ll find there's a buffet.

For ten dollars you can have your fill of biscuits and gravy, eggs, corn beef hash, fresh fruit, bagels, grits, bacon or sausage and a free drink of orange juice or coffee.

The buffet changes from week to week but the fruit, bagels and grits are normally always there.

Not only are the grits fantastic but so is pretty much everything else they serve. We love their cooking so much we had them cater our wedding celebration party. They made us some of the most wonderful lasagna.

Real Italian meats and sauces, that were prepared the day before to give it time to simmer and soak in the juices. Some chicken Parmesan that my guest couldn’t get enough of. And some wonderful salads!

They offer all of these things for their patrons in their restaurant as well. You can even have it catered and get a feast for your family. Just make sure you give them a days notice.

This Orlando Florida restaurant's menu also offers hamburgers, eggs salad sandwiches, Philly cheese steaks, mac and cheese. And pretty much any type of comfort food you desire.

The lunch menu is a little more pricey but well worth it. Most items range from $4.50-$8.00. The sandwiches come without fries so you have to order them separately.

Usually I’m so filled up with the sandwich that fries aren’t really necessary. Chris swears by their Philly Cheese steaks. He says they’re the best around.

This restaurant in Orlando offers a seasonal menu. That’s sort of the fun part. You never know what the guys have come up with to serve.

Sometimes they fire up the pizza oven to make a tasty calzone or pizza. During the colder months Tommy may make up some of his special chili.

The hours are from 6am-2pm. Sometimes they are open later. It really just depends on what their up to.

This restaurant in Orlando is pretty much a Mom and Pop so they make up their own rules. If you’re unsure of the hours or want to make sure they have something you’re looking for you can always call.
