One of the Best Restaurants in Orlando Florida is Tino's Cuban Bistro!
3500 Curry Ford Road
Orlando, Florida 32806

There are tons of restaurants in Orlando Florida offering a variety of tastes, options and cultures. That’s part of what makes Orlando great. You can expect not only to find American fare but also Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican and many others at their best. If you’re looking for some good Cuban look no further than Tino’s Cuban Bistro. Unlike other restaurants in Orlando Florida this tiny bistro is locally owned and operated. When you pull up you’ll see a small building that looks welcoming. Once you open the doors you’ll see a small and homey interior that’s tastefully decorated. With only about eight tables and five bar stools this place can fill up fast. Located off of Curry ford Road this’s one of those local restaurants in Orlando Florida that's unique in nature.

They offer a variety of authentic Cuban food, as well as, traditional American food. You can get everything from a Cuban sandwich with mojito dressing to a slab of meatloaf with a healthy helping of mashed potatoes.
Everything at Tino’s is home made and tasty. Right down to their house dressing for their fresh made salad. With a combination of peppers, onions, carrots and olive oil this dressing is interesting to say the least. With a little sweet and a little tang I’m hooked!
The prices on the menu are truly reasonable. The service has always been quick, friendly and eager to please. Even when I’ve busted out my $25 off coupon from
Restaurant.com
the servers didn’t even flinch (which is unusual because most servers think they will get a smaller tip when someone uses a coupon, which for me is actually the opposite. The coupon allows me to tip better!) I’ve heard some comments that the staff have tattoos and inappropriate uniforms. You may see some tattoos, but remember this's a local place so you have local people running it. Plus I’ve never received anything but friendly, competent service at Tino’s. There’s usually only one server on during each shift. So if it’s a little busier than normal your service may be a little slower. If you want to avoid slower service you may want to avoid high times for lunch and dinner. Usually 12-2pm for the lunch crowd and 6-8pm for the dinner crowd. This normally isn’t a problem for me. My hours of eating are already unusual so I normally miss the crowds. Breakfast at 10am, lunch at 3pm and dinner at 8pm. So I normally never have to wait. Sometimes it pays to be different! This restaurant is definitely kid friendly. They offer high chairs for the little ones and coloring books with crayons to keep them entertained. Plus with such a variety of chicken dishes on the menu most kids would be happy to eat here. If you’re looking for vegetarian or vegan fare look at other restaurants in Orlando Florida because Tino's is truly a carnivores delight.

Not all of the small restaurants in Orlando Florida serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. But, Tino’s Cuban Bistro does. They offer everything from eggs to pancakes in the morning. I’ve only been there once for breakfast but it was yummy and inexpensive. Breakfast prices start as low as $2.75 for two eggs and cheese to $8.50 for pork chops (or chicken, or steak) and two eggs. With the medium price being about $6.00 for things like omelets that are served with grits or home fries and toast. This Orlando Florida restaurants lunch menu consists of hot grilled and pressed subs with anything from ham and cheese to chicken or roast beef. Burgers and fried chicken also grace the menu. Lunch prices range from $5.75 to $8.75. Which is well worth it because you get a generous amount of food. I always end up taking some home for lunch the next day. Regardless if I go there for lunch or dinner.

Most of the lunches are served with fries but they always allow me to substitute for a small salad or a bowl of their yummy black beans (Cuban style with pork and beef tidbits.) I’m kind of a picky eater so it’s nice to be able to semi create my own meal. I normally do substitutions to suit my tastes and at Tino’s they have never gotten short with me. At some restaurants in Orlando Florida this may not be the case. They normally don’t allow substitutions on some of their meals. That’s the beauty of these smaller, privately owned restaurants in Orlando Florida. They want and need your business so they are more willing to accommodate you. Unlike some of the larger chain restaurants. Dinner starts at around $9.00 and goes up to $14.00. With the median price being about $10.00. Dinner meals include a baked or fried half chicken (which is huge!), shank of Lamb, Grouper, or Ribeye with the ribeye being the most expensive at $13.50. If you like steak you’ll have to have one here....phenomenal. And I hear nothing but good things about the Ropa Vieja shredded beef in Spanish sauce. But all of these meals are generous in size and come with quite a bit on the side. Including rice, beans and plantains (which are delicious by the way) and you can even add a side salad for only $0.75. They even offer a happy hour from 5-7pm Monday through Friday. With bottled beers and wine being the selection of alcohol. During happy hour you can save $1.00 off drinks. With bottled beers at $2.50 and wines at $3.50 that just sweetens and already good deal.

If you have any room by the time you’ve finished your delicious meal at Tino’s Cuban Bistro be sure to check out their delectable desserts. If you like flan (or even if you don’t) you’ll be in for a surprise. Their homemade flan is made with blended cream cheese in a rich caramel. I’ve had flan before but never like this. It’s now the only flan I’ll eat. If you’ve never tried flan and you try this version you may only be disappointed once you try all others. They also offer a paradise pie which has a blend of cookie dough, ice cream, chocolate, caramel and then they top it with walnuts and whipped cream. One word...YUM!

If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere with a little charm Tino’s would be a good place to find it. I hear they even offer free Wi-Fi!
With so many restaurants in Orlando Florida to choose from it’s hard to know which one is the best. If you’re looking for a good value that offers a family friendly, down home place you’re gonna want to check out Tino’s Cuban Bistro!
