They have kitchen items including oven mitts, dish towels, muffin cups, pots, pans, utensils and just about anything else you could need in the kitchen.

Housewares including throw pillows, bed pillows, comforters, towels, sheets, laundry baskets and trash cans.

You can also find luggage, backpacks, shoes, fashion jewelry, sunglasses, purses and books. Ross clothing outlet has everything!

rows of clothes at ross dress for less

Then of course there’s clothes. Rows and rows of them!

And it’s all on sale. Everything can be found at 20-60% below department store prices! And if you’re over 55 on Tuesdays you’ll save an additional 10%.

Women’s items are broken down by category including dresses, knit shirts, jeans/pants, skirts, active wear, shirts, capri, lingerie, swim wear, maternity and clearance (my favorite area).

There’s even a plus size section with clothes from 14W to 3X.

The juniors section is where you’ll find the majority of t-shirts and jeans.

Clothing is set up by size making it easy to find the section that would fit you best. They’re also colored tags on the hangers making it easy to spot your size (this's nice when things are out of place).

Each section including mens and children are broken down in much the same way. Except the men section has more active wear sections and their lingerie consists of an isle full of boxer shorts. Oh and they don’t have the maternity section of course.

You’ll find some random items in the mens section including guitars, barbeque gear and boxing gloves. You know manly things. You can also find hats, ties and belts here.

The thing I love most about Ross Dress for Less is if you’re on a budget you can still look stylish. I can go in there and find a dress or an outfit to wear for $20-$25.

As far as items holding up I’ve got tons of clothes that I’ve bought at Ross Dress for Less years ago that are still part of my everyday wardrobe.

If you look hard enough you can even find designer brands at Ross Dress for Less. I snatched up a cute pair of Nine West shoes for only $25 on my last trip.

Liz Claiborne, DKNY and Polo Ralph Lauren have been known to grace the racks at Ross too. Many times for $30 or less. The mall can’t touch these prices!!

Some people complain the items are of less quality than what you'd find at the shopping malls in Orlando. This may be true but you are also paying half the price.

I think Ross clothing outlet is a great place to find items for kids or teens. Their clothes are ever changing so it’s nice to be able to find inexpensive items for them.

Another complaint I hear a lot is that Ross Dress for Less is messy. This can be true. But keep in mind that's what outlet shopping in Orlando is like.

Depending on the time of day (and month) items may be picked over or maybe even be on the floor. Shelves can be messy and items out of place. So keep an open mind because I promise you'll find things you love.

Although I agree some items are not worth spending money on. This can be determined while shopping. Be sure to check zippers and buttons while you’re in the store.

Make sure there are no stains (when items fall on the floor they get run over by other shoppers) or rips before purchasing your item.

If you find something you love but it's less than perfect just point it out at the register. Normally they are willing to knock 10% off. But you have to agree that it can no longer be returned. But if you love it why would you bring it back?

If you do find a defect with some items once you’ve bought them you can return them without much fuss. Be sure to keep the receipt though otherwise you'll get the lowest price found for that item. And since the merchandise is quickly changing so are the prices.

I once bought a pair of jeans for a little over $20 and decided to return them a few weeks later because I hadn’t worn them. I had the receipt so I got my money back.

They marked them down right in front of me to $2.00! Now these were some nice jeans. So I went back through and re-purchased them and gave them to a friend.

clearance at ross dress for les

That's why I ALWAYS check the clearance racks. You never know what someone’s returned or what's dropped in price because it’s the last one.

Although this is also the downfall of Ross Dress for Less. You may find something you love but not find it in your size.

Unlike department stores Ross doesn’t have a large selection of the same items. Once they’re gone they’re gone.

This brings me to another point. Ross Dress for Less is not known for consistency. If you don’t like to shop you’ll hate it here.

You must go in with an open mind knowing that you may not find EXACTLY what your looking for. But do go in having an idea of what you want. This will make finding it easier.

For example, if you know you need a new comforter for your bed I can assure you you’ll find one. But you may not find a specific color or style. But if you’re willing to budge a little on that I can guarantee you’ll find something.

Now I know some people will say that it’s a waste of money to buy something that you’ll eventually have to replace. But if you’re anything like me I like to have several of one thing so I can change out items as my mood dictates. I have three different bedspreads which means I always have a choice.

If you know that you want a specific name brand of jeans or you’re looking for a specific color and style of curtains than this's not the store for you.

baby stuff at ross dress for les

Ross Dress for less is for people that like being on a treasure hunt. Some people even shop at Ross for items to sell on Ebay. Kids clothes are especially popular for this.

At Ross you may not find exactly what you want but if you’re willing to compromise you may find what you need.

It amazes me how every time I go to a Ross Dress for Less store I always find what I’m looking for. Be it pants for work, a new pair of shoes for a night on the town or just a new t-shirt. Plus I always save so much I feel like I can spend even more!

One downfall of the Ross Dress for less stores is not all of them have the same items. Some are better then others.

My sister in law says the Ross near her always has good stuff but I think the one near me is the best.

Oh well I guess neither one of us wants to drive further than we have to. Besides we both always find great deals.

It takes me a good hour to really shop at Ross Dress for Less. You need time to walk down all of the different sections. The dresses alone have three isles! Plus they always have such great stuff it's hard to resist window shopping.

The only problem is that you may find things you just have to have but really don’t need. So then your stuck in between a rock and a hard place. But if you decide to leave your beloved new item in the store it may not be there tomorrow.

As I said before the clearance section is where you can find the best deals. I bought a great pair of work pants for only 10 bucks my last trip. Cant beat that! Who wants to pay $50.00 for a pair of pants they wear only to work? Not I.

For great bargains on everything you need for fun and family Ross Dress for Less is a great place to find it. This is some of the best outlet shopping in Orlando. The extra time spent looking for bargains will be well worth it!
