Ruby Tuesdays -- One of the Best Restaurants in Orlando for Meat and Veggie Lovers!

Website (opens a new page)

Eat at Ruby Tuesdays and You Will Not Be Disappointed!

The first Ruby Tuesday opened in 1972. It was named after a Rolling Stones song. Samuel Beall (the original owner) kept hearing the song on the radio so he decide to name his restaurant after it. Now there are over 700 restaurants worldwide.

Ruby Tuesday is mainly known for their burgers. They take fresh (never frozen) beef to make their Triple Prime burgers.

They are called Triple Prime because they have three prime meats in them (prime tenderloin, prime ribeye and prime sirloin) not because they’re three patties high.

They are cooked to order any way you'd like. You can even get them rare if you want!

All burgers come with a side order of fries....endless fries. That's right you can have as many as you want! Usually by the time you're done with the burger there's no room for fries though.

Another great thing on Ruby Tuesdays menu is the New Orleans Seafood. This is lip smacking good.

They season a piece of farm raised Tilapia to perfection and then they top it with seasoned shrimp and a parmesan cream sauce. It’s the best thing on the menu!

Coming in at a close second is the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. This thing is just what it says. Ultimate!

It comes with cheese, avocado, bacon (I like mine without bacon) and the biggest, juiciest piece of chicken you've ever seen on a bun.

It’s the best chicken sandwich that I’ve found anywhere. I often times get a chicken sandwich elsewhere only to be disappointed.

Actually anything on the menu that offers chicken is the same juicy cut. You can't go wrong with the chicken fresco or the chicken bella either.

The made to order guacamole is to die for. They take three avocados, salt, pepper, pico de gallo and lemon juice. Mash it all up and serve it fresh to you. Sided with multi colored tortilla chips. I could eat this stuff all day long!

Ruby Tuesdays also offers Steaks, Lobster, Seafood pastas and gigantic salads. Most items on the menu range from $6.99 (appetizers) to $19.99 (steak and lobster).

One of the most popular items on the menu are the mini’s and salad bar combination. You get two little sliders in beef, turkey, chicken or crab (like the ones in the picture) with your choice of sides.

They normally come with the endless fries but you can ask for something else. Plus, it also comes with the salad bar!

One of the Best Restaurants in Orlando for Salad Lovers

One way Ruby Tuesdays caters to the vegetarian crowd is with their terrific salad bar!

Ruby Tuesdays has the best salad bar I’ve ever seen. With several different choices of lettuce including spinach.

Plus eggs, beets, pasta salad, waldorf salad, sunflower seeds, zucchini, cucumbers, cucumber salad, tomatoes, grapes and much more.

Plus they offer ranch, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigerette, italian and lite ranch dressings.

The salad bar is all you can eat. It doesn’t matter if you have it as a meal or with a meal you can eat as much as you want.

You can add the wonderful salad bar to any meal for a little over $3. That’s what I like to do because I get all nice and filled up on salad and then I take my meal home for lunch the next day!

There's one person at Ruby Tuesdays that does nothing but look after the salad bar. That means it’s always fresh and available.

Sometimes during the busier hours it may get a little depleted. But they're usually pretty quick to fill it back up.

What About the Bar?

There are some great drink specials at this Orlando Florida restaurant. They have all day every day $5 drink specials.

They even have a few signature drinks. Including the Ruby Relaxer. With pineapple, rum, vodka, grenadine and coconut. This drink is sweet and satisfying.

If you’re at the bar having a drink over $3.00 (after 9pm) you can get a free slider of your choice (only one per person though). That’s pretty cool.

You can order fresh lemonades and teas from the bar (or from the table but they’re made at the bar.) In Mango, Blackberry, Strawberry or Mixed berry.

All are a little sweet but have chunks of fruit on the bottom. These are made from a heavy syrup with lots of sugar though so you may only want to have one.

The sangrias are also pretty yummy. Made with the same fruit chunks. Plus they add real fruit like oranges and cherries. Yum!

What's the Inside Like?

The decor in Ruby Tuesdays is very nice and relaxed. The booths are comfortable but the tables are as well.

The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a five star restaurant. The restaurant is sleek and modern. But the prices remain reasonable. It's fine dining in Orlando on a budget!

The uniforms are casual on the servers. But they all look put together and presentable. The service is always fast and friendly and the food is always fresh.

Where Can I Find A Deal?

Some Ruby Tuesdays are franchise so make sure to ask about coupons or gift cards first because they can only be accepted at corporate stores.

There’s a Ruby Tuesdays inside the airport that’s a franchise so they don’t play by the same rules of the other restaurants.

If you go on the website and join their club, Ruby Tuesdays will send you an Orlando restaurant coupon. Sometimes up to 20% off!

Be sure to check the website before you go. There you can look over the menu, see what specials are going on and find store locations.

At Ruby Tuesdays the food is inexpensive but full of quality (and variety.) So it's sure to be a crowd pleaser for you and your whole family!
